A heartfelt performance from Nolan North and Emily Rose as well as intriguing performances from newcomers Troy Baker, Laura Bailey and Warren Kole make for a well-rounded cast. Characters tense up and relax in this episode, thanks to a superb voice cast and well-considered script. It's amazing how many interesting things we learn just by having these little side talks. Throughout its calmer moments, Uncharted 4 does an excellent job of exploring a more world-weary crew of explorers. Even if the basic premise of the film is overly familiar - Nathan Drake and Elena Fisher are trying to settle down and live a normal life until Nate's presumed dead brother shows up with an offer he can't refuse - the story's main focus is the characters' struggle to balance their adult responsibilities with the promise of excitement they secretly crave. It's a riveting few chapters that flow between multiple historical periods with cinematic flare in Uncharted 4's tale. The 15-hour journey begins with a laser-like concentration.
